While we do not have dogs often – occasionally we do! Right now we actually have two! 
Meet Angel! Could she be your one and only??? This sweet 3 year old pittie girl almost lives up to her name every minute as long as there’s not another pet around. We aren’t sure if she would be aggressive per-say but she does get extremely anxious around other dogs. Small dogs and cats seem to be a no-go at all. Due to these anxieties, we recommend a home with a fence where she can’t see neighbors and roaming critters. Because of her strength she would be safer in a home without young kids that she could knock down. We would love to find her a home where she can shine! She is a total couch potato most of the day. She does love her toys and her babies (stuffed animals) and will play with them in the yard or the house whenever the mood strikes. She loves to go on car rides and on quiet walks. She has no problem hanging out at the office all day and greeting random visitors. And she is the best snuggler at night! We keep saying that she would make an awesome companion for a truck driver!!! She loves food, treats and toys. She does almost anything on command. She enjoys a quick trot through the privacy fenced yard but quickly comes back to follow her new temporary momma around while she does chores. She is content to be almost anywhere her people are but also behaves while they are away if she feels safe and cozy where she is. Meet Bluebelle! We were contacted about this poor 7 year old girl whose owner could not/would not properly care for her. This sweet senior girl is ready to let her light shine and find the home she so desperately wants and deserves. Bluebelle gets along great with children, and has done well with her caretaker’s boxer. She knows basic commands such as sit, and give paw. She walks well on a leash and listens well. She is a very loyal dog, who loves her people, and anyone she meets. She does have a history of roaming so she will need a home where she can be appropriately confined in a fenced yard where she is not left alone long enough to get bored and curious. She has now been vaccinated, spayed and had a two non-cancerous masses removed. She is finally healed and ready to find a home of her own! Meetings with her can be arranged with approved adopters. Why are adoption fees so important for us? We work hard to keep costs low here but we still spend $125-190 to get every HEALTHY kitten ready for adoption! That does not take into account the costs to vet sick cats/kittens or our expenses to otherwise house them and provide routine daily care. We rely on adoption fees to cover a portion of that expense (fees are $60-$100 per kitty) and then we must fund raise and collect donations to cover the rest PLUS pay our bills to keep our doors open. Team Forever Love welcomed 351 cats and kittens into our adoption program last year! We found homes for so many but we are still caring for some of our long timers and our new friends who have not yet found homes. As of today, our hard working volunteers and fosters are caring for 127 cats and kittens each and every day! We also provided TNR surgery for 720 community cats last year in our “spare time”. This is a huge job for our dedicated group of volunteers to do and we can’t thank our supporters enough for allowing us the opportunity to care for so many! Welcome to the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Forever Love Rescue is now only open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 3 pm. We offer private appointments with approved adopters during the weekdays. Please submit an application so that you can be pre-approved to adopt one (or two) of our adoptable kitties.
Donation drop offs can be made daily between 11am-3pm just ring the doorbell and a volunteer will be glad to meet you. NO CATS or KITTENS can be “dropped off”. We only accept new intakes by appointment and ONLY IF we have available space in foster care. We have full cages here, so we are not accepting many new cats at this time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SURRENDER A PET OR FOUND CAT/KITTENS – Kitten season has hit us hard so our rescue is currently full and it will take some time for us to bring our numbers back to a reasonable amount of kitties moving forward. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application to adopt prior to visiting. We also schedule appointments with APPROVED ADOPTERS to meet many of our adorable kittens and cats who are at our adoption center or currently in foster care.
