Care of bottle babies must must start as soon as possible and continue every 2 – 4 hours with feedings, cleaning and stimulation around the clock. The timer should start as soon as they have finished eating. Be sure you can commit to this!

• Keep kittens clean, warm, and dry in a separate, sheltered area at all times.
• Stimulating the urogenital area after each meal by gently wiping with a tissue or warm, wet cloth until urination is essential.
  • Continue stimulating the urogenital area after each meal until kittens pass stool at least once daily. They should not go more than two-three days without passing stool.
  • Follow with a gentle cleaning using a baby wipe or baby shampoo to prevent urine rash/burn and clean up any residue.
