Please submit information on all kittens ready for adoption on the New Kitty form available in the FLR Facebook Foster Group. It’s also helpful to put a detailed post about your kitten once it is ready to find its forever home.

  • Make sure there is at least one recent picture and information about the cat’s personality available to Pam Wallace (pam@foreverloverescue.com). A good story makes a big difference in the number of calls the cat gets, so don’t be afraid to be descriptive! Try to include things like:
    • Whether the cat likes to be petted or held
    • Is a lap cat
    • Purrs easily
    • Is vocal or quiet
    • Is active and playful or calm
    • Has good litter box manners
    • Uses a scratching post
    • Has experience with other animals and children
  • Many kittens are adopted directly from foster care. Please let us know if you have any problems with bringing your foster(s) at any times to meet potential adopters.
  • If keeping them in foster care is not possible, cats and kittens are moved to Kitty Corner as space is available. This is the most effective way of getting them seen by multiple visitors.
  • Friends, co-workers or relatives may want to adopt your foster cat/kitten. All potential adopters must fill out an application on the Forever Love Rescue website. No one can adopt on a walk-in basis!
  • Forever Love Rescue checks personal and vet references and has final authority to approve all adoptions.
  • As of July 2020, adoption fees are:
    • Kittens: $100 or 2/$150 (adopting in pairs is strongly encouraged!)
    • Adults: $60 or 2/$90
    • Seniors: $30
  • You may, of course, adopt your own foster cat, fondly known as a foster fail.
